Marriage Certificate Registration Requirement in Haryana, India-Muncipal Committee Only

Here are the requirements of Marriage Certificate Registration in Haryana.

i)Two Photographs of Marriage showing Huasband & Wife -Postcard Size

ii) Eight Photos of Husband & Wife size 3"x2"

iii) Rashan Cards of Husband's and Wife's Family

iv) Birth Certificates of Huasband and Wife.

v) Certificate from Place of Marriage(Could be from Temple, Mosque, Gurudwara, Palace or Dharamshala).

vi) Marriage Cards from both familes.

vii) Registration Fees-100 Rs till 90 days of Marriage, 250 Rs from 90 days to one year and 300 after one year.

viii) Statement & Affidavits from Huasband & Wife.

ix) Affidavits from Husband & Wife with Computered Photo Attestation. Prepared on stamp paper in Local Court or in Secretariat Office.

x) Statements and Affidavits from parents of Husband & Wife.

xi) Statements and Affidavits from two witness of marriage.

xii) Statement of priest, Munipal Commissioner and their Affidavits.

All these documents are aligned with Application Form and sumit in Marriage Registrar office.

It is one of the lengthy process of Red Tape in India. The best option is to get marriage certificat in 90 days otherwise it takes years to get it. Good Luck friends.

It took me a lot of time to go through these three Sarkari process of India. I am writing these blogs to make life easier for other. Cheers!!

Address to visit- First Floor - Shiksha Sadan, Sector-5, Panchkula.

Requirements-

i) Application Form (Get from the same office)

ii) Passport Size Photos

iii) Rs. 50 postal Order

iv) Attested Copy of Passport

v) Two attested copies of each of certificate degree to be attested.

vi) One attested copy of Final Year Marksheet

vii) Copy of Job Letter

Affadavit may or may not be required, they will be providing format for that, that needs to be Notary attested from Court so it is better to reach there early at 9:30 AM.

Buy a Rs. 50 postal order, better to buy it from your home town as there was a long queue in Panchkula Sec-4 post office. Buy One Postal order of Rs. 50 do not take five of Rs.10 that is not accepted, make sure it is stamped by post office.

Arrange all the documents and submit it to office. Clerk require a letter from University confirming your degrees are original. He will issue a letter to university which he can post to University department or can handover to you. If Clerk posts the letter then it can take weeks/months to get confirmation letter from university. On the other hand if clerk handovers it to you, take it to university, submit letter to them, make sure to keep a photocopy with you for future use. University clerk will issue you a confirmation letter in a sealed envelope. Take that sealed envelope to same office in Panchkula and they will put Stamp on back side of your degree.

Now your degree is HRD attested from state department. Next task is to get it Apostilled. The address is Ministry of External Affairs, CPV division. Tilak Marg, Near India Gate, Next to Patiala House Court.

The Process of Attestations from MEA was changed from 1st March 2012. Documents are collected by Govt. prescribed agencies and retured after stamping. The details are given in below mentioned web address.
